Después de la cirugÃa, usted necesitará permanecer en el hospital durante tres a cuatro dÃas.
Su tobillo estará con un yeso o una férula después de la cirugÃa. Se dejará allà un tubo pequeño que ayuda a drenar la sangre de la articulación del tobillo durante uno o dos dÃas. Para controlar la hinchazón, mantenga el pie elevado por encima del nivel del corazón mientras esté durmiendo o descansando.
El médico puede recomendar la fisioterapia para enseñarle a usted ejercicios que le ayudarán a movilizarse más fácilmente.
