Los valores normales para cada prueba de detección pueden variar dependiendo de la forma como se realice dicha prueba.

Significado de los resultados anormales:

Un resultado anormal no significa que el bebé tenga la enfermedad indicada. En general, la mayoría de los bebés que tienen un resultado anormal en el examen resultan no teniendo la enfermedad. Sin embargo, un resultado anormal no significa que el niño deba someterse a pruebas adicionales para confirmar o descartar la condición.
