Prevención:

Muchos casos de osteonecrosis no tienen una causa conocida, de tal forma que su prevención puede no ser posible. Sin embargo, en algunos casos, usted puede reducir el riesgo haciendo lo siguiente:

  • Evitar el consumo excesivo de alcohol
  • Evitar el uso prolongado y las dosis altas de corticosteroides, cuando sea posible
