Prevención:

Muchos casos de necrosis aséptica no tienen una causa conocida, de tal forma que su prevención puede no ser posible. Sin embargo, en algunos casos, la persona puede reducir el riesgo haciendo lo siguiente:

  • Evitando el consumo excesivo de alcohol
  • Evitando el uso prolongado y con dosis altas de corticosteroides, cuando sea posible
  • Buceando en forma segura para evitar la enfermedad por descompresión
