Si la ecografía intravascular se llevó a cabo durante un procedimiento de cateterismo cardíaco, la persona permanecerá en el hospital durante aproximadamente 3 a 6 horas, pero si la ecografía se realizó durante una angioplastia, la estadía en el hospital será de 12 a 24 horas.
