Prevención:

Si una persona fuma, debe dejar de hacerlo; nunca es tarde para dejar de fumar. Igualmente, se debe evitar la inhalación del humo proveniente de los cigarrillos, cigarros o pipas de otras personas.

El hecho de consumir una dieta rica en frutas y verduras puede ayudar a prevenir algunos casos de cáncer pulmonar.
