Cáncer de pulmón (carcinoma broncopulmonar)

Cuanto más temprano se encuentre en cáncer, mayores serán las probabilidades de supervivencia. El cáncer pulmonar es una enfermedad mortal y casi el 60% de las personas que lo padecen mueren en un período de un año; sin embargo, algunas personas se curan y continúan viviendo muchos años.
El cáncer se puede diseminar a otras partes del cuerpo (metástasis) y su tratamiento puede causar efectos secundarios significativos.
