  • Acumulación de sangre en el tórax (hemotórax).
  • Daño a arterias o nervios.
  • Síndrome de Horner (disminución de la sudoración facial y párpados caídos).
  • Aumento de la sudoración o nueva sudoración.
  • Aumento de la sudoración en otras áreas del cuerpo (sudoración compensatoria).

Los cirujanos que llevan a cabo la ETS deben recibir una capacitación especial. Antes de hacerse operar, verifique que el cirujano tenga esta capacitación.
