Marcapasos cardíaco - Risks

Riesgos:

Las posibles complicaciones de la cirugía para el marcapasos son:

  • Ritmos cardíacos anormales
  • Sangrado
  • Punción del pulmón (esto es raro)
  • Infección
  • Perforación del corazón que puede llevar a que se presente sangrado a su alrededor (esto es raro)

Un marcapasos normalmente puede percibir si el latido cardíaco está por encima de una cierta tasa. Cuando supera esa tasa, el marcapasos deja de enviar señales al corazón. También puede percibir cuando el latido cardíaco está demasiado lento. En ese caso automáticamente se encenderá y comenzará a regular la frecuencia de los latidos cardíacos de nuevo.
