Colonoscopia:

Existen cuatro exámenes básicos para el cáncer de colon que son: el examen de heces para verificar la presencia de sangre, la sigmoidoscopia o inspección del colon inferior, la colonoscopia o inspección de todo el colon y el enema opaco de doble contraste. Todos estos cuatro procedimientos son efectivos para detectar el cáncer en las etapas iniciales, cuando el tratamiento produce los mayores beneficios.
