Neurofibromatosis I, agrandamiento de la abertura óptica

Esta radiografía muestra el cráneo de un niño con neurofibromatosis (NF-1). Este niño desarrolló trastornos visuales y se le diagnosticó un glioma (tumor en un nervio) en el nervio óptico. El tumor ha ensanchado el orificio óseo (foramen óptico), a través del cual pasa el nervio óptico, tal como se puede observar en la parte derecha de la imagen.
