Registro del ECG durante un bloqueo auriculoventricular

Esta imagen muestra el ECG (electrocardiograma) de una persona con un ritmo cardíaco anormal (arritmia) llamado bloqueo auriculoventricular. Las ondas P muestran que la parte superior del corazón recibió actividad eléctrica. Cada onda P, por lo general, es seguida de ondas altas (QRS). Las ondas QRS reflejan la actividad eléctrica que hace contraer al corazón. Cuando hay una onda P que no está seguida por una onda QRS (ni por una contracción cardíaca) el paciente tiene un bloqueo auriculoventricular y un pulso muy lento o bradicardia.
