Acercamiento del liquen plano. El liquen plano es una afección inflamatoria e intensamente pruriginosa (produce escozor) de la piel, que se presenta generalmente en forma de lesiones papulares violáceas (rojo púrpura), ligeramente levantadas y con finas escamas, las cuales pueden coalescer (crecer juntas) para formar una gran superficie levantada (placa). Esta condición usualmente se presenta en adultos, aunque también puede ocurrir en niños.
