Esclerosis m&#250;ltiple

La esclerosis múltiple es un trastorno del sistema nervioso central marcado por la disminución en la función neurológica, acompañada de una inflamación inicial de la cubierta protectora de mielina de los nervios y de una cicatrización permanente. Los síntomas y la gravedad de los mismos varían ampliamente y pueden progresar hasta episodios de crisis que se alternan con episodios de remisión.
