Ligadura tubárica

La ligadura tubárica, comúnmente llamada "ligadura de trompas", es la esterilización quirúrgica de la mujer, la cual es un método permanente para evitar el transporte del óvulo al útero al sellar las trompas de Falopio. Esta operación puede practicarse por vía laparoscópica o en el momento de una operación cesárea, después de que el bebé ha nacido. Aunque la ligadura tubárica se considera permanente, en muchos casos se puede revertir.
