La angiografía coronaria se emplea para detectar la obstrucción en las arterias coronarias del corazón. Durante el procedimiento, se inserta un catéter (tubo flexible y delgado) en una arteria del brazo o de la ingle que se lleva cuidadosamente hasta el corazón.
