Causas de la bronquitis crónica

La bronquitis crónica es causada con mayor frecuencia por una irritación prolongada de los conductos bronquiales. La bronquitis se considera "crónica" si los síntomas continúan por tres meses o más. La bronquitis causada por alergias también se puede clasificar como bronquitis crónica. La bronquitis crónica es causada con frecuencia por la exposición a contaminantes atmosféricos como el humo del cigarrillo, exceso de polvo en el aire o químicos.
