El oído interno, que contiene 3 pequeñas estructuras llenas de líquido llamadas canales semicirculares (conductos), se encuentra en lo profundo del interior de la cabeza. Cada conducto tiene una inflamación en el extremo, llamada ampolla, dentro de la cual están los diminutos receptores del “equilibrio” llamados cresta.
