La necrobiosis lipoídica diabética es una enfermedad crónica de la piel que se caracteriza por placas brillantes que cambian de color, desde amarillo claro a rojo oscuro y es más frecuente en las mujeres. Aunque el nombre implica diabetes y la mayoría de los casos se presentan en diabéticos, esta enfermedad la pueden padecer individuos sin diabetes.
