Tipos de tejido muscular

Los tres tipos de tejido muscular son: cardíaco, liso y esquelético. Las células del músculo cardíaco están localizadas en las paredes del corazón, tienen apariencia de huso y están bajo control involuntario. Las fibras de músculo liso están localizadas en las paredes de los órganos viscerales huecos, a excepción del corazón, tienen apariencia estriada y también están bajo control involuntario. Las fibras del músculo esquelético se presentan en músculos que están adheridos al esqueleto, tienen apariencia estriada y están bajo control voluntario.
