Prótesis para el codo:

El reemplazo o artroplastia de codo implica la sustitución quirúrgica de los huesos que componen dicha articulación con partes artificiales de la articulación del codo (componentes protésicos). La articulación artificial consta de dos varillas hechas de metal de alta calidad, unidas con una bisagra de metal y plástico que le permite a dicha articulación doblarse. Las articulaciones artificiales vienen en diferentes tamaños para ajustarse al paciente.
