Doble entrada ventricular izquierda:

En la doble entrada ventricular izquierda, únicamente la cámara inferior izquierda del corazón (ventrículo izquierdo) se desarrolla y ambas cámaras superiores llevan sangre a dicho ventrículo. Se puede presentar un ventrículo derecho pequeño e insuficientemente desarrollado. La doble entrada ventricular izquierda es uno de varios defectos cardíacos conocidos como defectos de ventrículo único (o común), dado que básicamente sólo hay una cámara de bombeo en el corazón.
