Poliarteritis microscópica en la espinilla, término que se refiere a la inflamación de los vasos sanguíneos. Los nódulos de la poliarteritis son subcutáneos, es decir, se localizan bajo la superficie cutánea, se los puede percibir levemente (palpables) al ejercer presión sobre la piel y son sensibles al tacto. La piel afectada se encuentra típicamente enrojecida (eritematosa).
