Púrpura de Henoch-Schonlein en las piernas de un bebé

La púrpura de Henoch-Schonlein se observa con mayor frecuencia en los niños que en los adultos y por lo general aparece después de una infección del tracto respiratorio superior. Esta condición produce erupciones cutáneas que sangran dentro de la piel (petequias y púrpura). El sangrado también puede originarse en el tracto gastrointestinal y los riñones.
