Los ligamentos que unen el hueso del fémur a la tibia (hueso grande de la pierna inferior) crean una articulación tipo bisagra llamada rodilla. El ligamento cruzado anterior y el posterior son dos ligamentos fuertes que se entrecruzan entre sí a mitad de la articulación.
