< Atras La cirugía de córnea consiste en reemplazar la cubierta transparente del ojo o córnea en caso de infección severa, lesión o cicatriz corneal y cuando la córnea ya no permita el paso de la luz. Los resultados de la cirugía de córnea son muy buenos y las córneas trasplantadas tienen una expectativa de vida larga.
