El t贸rax tambi茅n recibe el nombre de pecho y contiene los 贸rganos principales de la respiraci贸n y de la circulaci贸n. El coraz贸n bombea sangre oxigenaba a todas las partes del cuerpo a trav茅s de su arteria principal, la aorta. Los pulmones abastecen de ox铆geno a las c茅lulas del cuerpo y eliminan el di贸xido de carbono. Estos 贸rganos en conjunto mantienen algunas de las funciones vitales m谩s cr铆ticas del cuerpo.
