Ureterocele

El ureterocele es un trastorno congénito (de nacimiento) en el cual el uréter presenta una protrusión hacia la entrada de la vejiga. El ureterocele generalmente se manifiesta después de las infecciones recurrentes del tracto urinario. El tratamiento de esta condición, con frecuencia, involucra la colocación de un stent para liberar la obstrucción, y/ o la corrección quirúrgica.
