El gammagrama de galio es un tipo de escáner nuclear en el que se utiliza galio radioactivo para determinar si un paciente tiene inflamación en los pulmones. Se inyecta el galio en la vena y se toma una serie de rayos X para identificar dónde se acumuló el galio en los pulmones. Esta prueba generalmente se realiza cuando existe evidencia de inflamación de los pulmones (sarcoidosis).
