Apendicectomía - Serie

Procedimiento:

Si se ha formado una cavidad infectada o si el apéndice ha sufrido una ruptura, se hará un lavado completo del abdomen durante la cirugía. Luego, el cirujano puede dejar la piel abierta de manera que ésta sane por sí sola, permita que la infección pueda drenar o, con menos frecuencia, para colocar un pequeño tubo de drenaje.
