Indicaciones

El juanete es una deformidad dolorosa de los huesos y la articulación entre el pie y el dedo gordo del pie. La irritación artrítica durante un largo período (inflamación crónica), el uso de zapatos inadecuados o la herencia hace que la articulación se ponga gruesa y aumente de tamaño. Como consecuencia, el hueso del dedo grande del pie se desvía hacia y sobre el segundo dedo; el hueso del pie (metatarsiano) se desvía hacia el otro pie y la piel se vuelve gruesa (formación de callo).
