Eliminación del juanete - Serie

Procedimiento (segunda parte):

La eliminación de un juanete generalmente se lleva a cabo mientras el paciente se encuentra profundamente dormido y sin sentir dolor (bajo anestesia general) y rara vez requiere hospitalización.

Se hace una incisión a lo largo de los huesos del dedo gordo del pie. La articulación y los huesos deformados se reparan y estos últimos se estabilizan con un clavo o un yeso.
