Cirugía de hemorroides - Serie

Procedimiento:

Se liga la base de la hemorroide para evitar el sangrado interno y luego se extirpa quirúrgicamente. Algunos cirujanos simplemente colocan una banda de caucho alrededor de la base de la hemorroide para impedir el flujo sanguíneo; luego ésta cae y se mezcla con la materia fecal. Otros cirujanos inyectan la base de la hemorroide con un agente esclerosante (escleroterapia) que también destruye los vasos de la hemorroide y hace que ésta caiga y se mezcle con la materia fecal.
