Cuidados postoperatorios

Más del 90% de las cirugías de hemorroides son exitosas. Después de la cirugía, el paciente siente un dolor muy fuerte a medida que el ano se contrae y se relaja, pero existen medicamentos para aliviar este malestar. Se utilizan reblandecedores de materia fecal para evitar el esfuerzo durante la evacuación intestinal. De igual manera, debe evitarse cualquier tipo de esfuerzo al orinar. Los baños con agua tibia también proporcionan alivio. Es posible recuperarse totalmente en unas dos semanas.
