Histerectomía - Serie

Indicaciones:

La histerectomía consiste en la extirpación del útero. Esto trae como consecuencia la incapacidad de la mujer para quedar embarazada (esterilidad). La intervención se puede realizar a través del abdomen o de la vagina.

Se recomienda la histerectomía en caso de:

Infecciones severas crónicas (enfermedad inflamatoria pélvica)
Inflamación severa del revestimiento interno del útero (endometritis)
Tumores en el útero
Fibrosis uterina, cáncer de endometrio
Cáncer cervicouterino, cáncer de ovario
Sangrado vaginal severo y prolongado (crónico)
