Histerectomía - Serie

Procedimiento:

La histerectomía es una operación muy común. El útero puede ser extraído de forma total, parcial o se puede extirpar junto con las trompas y los ovarios.

La histerectomía parcial consiste solamente en la extirpación de la parte superior del útero, dejando intacto la base del útero y el cuello uterino.

La histerectomía total consiste en la extirpación de todo el útero y del cuello uterino.

La histerectomía radical consiste en la extirpación del útero, ambas trompas de Falopio, ambos ovarios y la parte superior de la vagina.

La histerectomía se puede realizar a través de una incisión abdominal (histerectomía abdominal) o a través de una incisión vaginal (histerectomía vaginal).
