Reparación quirúrgica del pie zambo - Serie

Procedimiento (segunda parte):

El tipo y extensión de la cirugía dependen de la severidad de la deformación. El defecto involucra los tendones cortos y tensionados alrededor del pie y del tobillo. La cirugía implica el alargamiento de algunos tendones y el acortamiento de otros, con el fin de ubicar los huesos y articulaciones en la posición normal. Después de la cirugía, se coloca un yeso en el pie para mantener la posición mientras sana.
