Procedimiento

Se hace una incisión en el interior de las fosas nasales, mientras el paciente se encuentra bajo anestesia local. El paciente está usualmente con sedantes pero despierto durante la cirugía, relajado e insensitivo al dolor. Para reconstruir los huesos que forman la nariz, se utilizan instrumentos que se introducen a través de las fosas nasales. Estos instrumentos se utilizan para reformar los huesos que conforman la nariz.
