Displasia cervical - Serie

Procedimiento (primera parte):

La terapia de ablación se practica frecuentemente utilizando una criosonda. Una sonda hueca de metal, a través de la cual fluye nitrógeno líquido extremadamente frío, se introduce en la vagina y se aplica en el cuello uterino, donde se mantiene de cinco a diez minutos. Esto congela y destruye el tejido superficial del cuello uterino que contiene el tejido displásico.
