Incisión

Se hace una incisión en la línea media baja del abdomen, mientras el paciente se encuentra profundamente dormido y sin sentir dolor (bajo anestesia general). Algunas veces, el cirujano realiza una incisión baja lateral transversa en lugar de la incisión en la línea media baja.
