Artroscopia de rodilla - Serie

Procedimiento (segunda parte):

El aparato para observar (artroscopio) y otros instrumentos se insertan en la articulación de la rodilla. Esto permite que el cirujano observe los ligamentos, disco de la rodilla (meniscos), hueso de la rodilla (patela), revestimiento de la articulación (sinovia), así como el resto de la articulación. Luego, se extirpan los tejidos dañados.

La artroscopia también se utiliza para observar el interior de la rodilla mientras los ligamentos y tendones se reparan desde afuera.
