Angioplastia coronaria con balón - Serie

Indicaciones:

La grasa y el colesterol se acumulan dentro de las arterias (aterosclerosis). Esta acumulación puede estrechar o bloquear las pequeñas arterias del músculo cardíaco (las arterias coronarias). Si el estrechamiento es pequeño, se puede tratar con una angioplastia coronaria transluminal percutánea (ACTP).

La ACTP es un procedimiento invasivo mínimo para abrir las arterias coronarias cerradas, permitiendo que circule la sangre sin obstrucción hacia el músculo del corazón. Las indicaciones para realizar la ACTP son:

  • Dolor pectoral persistente (angina)
  • Bloqueo de sólo una o dos arterias coronarias
