Procedimiento

Se utilizan instrumentos y una máquina especial. A la persona se le administran medicamentos y se queda dormida. Luego, el cirujano introduce pequeños instrumentos de succión a través de la piel dentro de las bolsas de grasa. Dichos instrumentos rompen la grasa y la succionan. Se pueden colocar pequeños tubos en el área para ayudar a drenar los líquidos durante los primeros días después de la cirugía.
