Incisión

Mientras el paciente está adormilado (sedado) bajo anestesia local o profundamente dormido, bajo anestesia general, el cirujano hace incisiones sobre la línea del pelo, a nivel de las sienes, por detrás del lóbulo auricular y hacia la parte inferior del cuero cabelludo. A continuación, retira el tejido graso y la piel suelta y por último cierra las incisiones con suturas.
