Reparación quirúrgica de la torsión testicular - Serie

Procedimiento:

Se administra anestesia general para que el paciente quede profundamente dormido y no sienta dolor. Se realiza una incisión en el escroto, se desenrolla el testículo y se coloca una sutura reabsorbible para que el testículo no gire de nuevo. El testículo no afectado también se asegura con sutura, puesto que el problema tiende a ocurrir en ambos lados y el testículo sano se encuentra en alto riesgo de presentar una torsión posteriormente.
