Cirugía de derivación cardíaca - Serie

Aunque el corazón mismo no se abre, se usa la máquina de derivación cardiopulmonar para redireccionar la sangre que llega desde el corazón mientras se realiza la cirugía, con el fin de proporcionar una circulación de sangre adecuada al cerebro y otros órganos vitales.
