Cirugía de derivación cardíaca - Serie

Cuidados postoperatorios:

Después de la operación, el paciente pasará de 7 a 10 días en una unidad de cuidado intensivo (UCI). Se colocan tubos torácicos durante los primeros 2 a 3 días para drenar la sangre residual y los fluidos del área alrededor del corazón. Se monitoriza la función cardíaca. Es posible que no se aprecien los beneficios totales de la cirugía hasta después de 3 a 4 meses. La actividad sexual se puede reanudar luego de 3 a 4 semanas de la cirugía. Se permiten todas las actividades que no causen fatiga, pero el paciente no debe forzar los huesos de la cavidad torácica (esternón) en recuperación.
