Presentación de nalgas - Serie

Complicaciones de la presentación de nalgas:

El prolapso del cordón umbilical es común en los partos de nalgas. Esto sucede cuando parte del cordón se desliza a través del cuello uterino antes de que el bebé lo haga. El cordón es comprimido durante las contracciones, lo cual interrumpe el suministro de sangre al bebé. Por lo general, esto requiere de una operación cesárea de emergencia.
