La bilis es un fluido digestivo que secreta el hígado, se almacena en la vesícula biliar y normalmente es liberado hacia la porción duodenal del intestino delgado, a través del esfínter de Oddi. La bilis que se libera luego de la ingestión de grasas ayuda a la absorción y digestión de las mismas.
