3. Tomar el puño con la otra mano.

4. Efectuar compresiones rápidas hacia arriba y hacia adentro con los puños.

5. Continuar con las compresiones hasta que el objeto sea desalojado o el niño pierda el conocimiento.

Si el niño queda inconsciente, se le debe colocar en el piso, llamar al 911 y comenzar la RCP. Si la persona observa el objeto que está obstruyendo la vía respiratoria, debe tratar de retirarlo.
