Dr. Kathuria is a well-respected and experienced Oculoplastic Surgeon, and is a Fellow of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Society. He has extensive experience in the management of acute and late reconstruction after trauma of the soft tissue and bones around the eye.
He received his medical degree in 1989, with distinction, from the George Washington University, where he was also elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at University of Maryland and a fellowship in Oculoplastics at University of Toronto.
Dr. Kathuria has lectured at local, national, and international meetings. He receives patient referrals from all over the state of Maryland and surrounding regions for his expertise in the areas of orbital tumors, cancer of the eyelids, congenital eyelid anomalies, and complicated post-traumatic reconstruction of the eye socket.
